Program Information

The 2023 Next-Generation Suborbital Researchers Conference (NSRC) will be held at the Omni Interlocken Hotel in Broomfield, Colorado, between Denver and Boulder, from Monday, February 27 through Wednesday, March 1, 2023.

Onsite registration and check-in opens on Sunday, February 26th, at 5:30pm in the Centennial Lobby, on the hotel’s main level.

The Opening Reception will be on Sunday, February 26 at 7:00pm at the Omni Hotel. The opening Keynote speaker will be former NASA astronaut and Commander of Axiom-1, Michael Lopez-Alegria. Axiom-1 was a commercial mission to the ISS, that flew in 2022.

A VIP/Sponsors Reception will be held Tuesday evening, Feb. 28th. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, please see the sponsorship benefits page.

On Wednesday afternoon, March 1st, the closing Keynote speaker will be Frank White, author of The Overview Effect. The Closing Reception will immediately follow.

All receptions, as well as the poster session, include complimentary cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.

We recommend participants arrive at the Omni the afternoon of Sunday, Feb. 26th, and depart Wednesday night, March 1st, or Thursday, March 2nd. The NSRC room block rate will be honored Feb. 22-Mar. 5, for those who would like to extend their stay. Due to unpredictable weather in Colorado, we recommend booking an earlier arrival to allow for weather-related delays.

NSRC-2023 has reached record meeting sponsorship with over twenty keynote and invited confirmed talks. We will also have individual flight provider workshops, panels and contributed talks by researchers and educators, as well as poster sessions and a VIP/Sponsors reception. When finalized, please see the Block Schedule, as well as the Detailed Schedule for the complete listing of talks, talk times, and presenters for each session/panel. See the Author Index to view contributed talk and poster abstracts.
